The Bentley University Office of Sustainability's mission is to mobilize sustainable leadership in business by:
1.Modeling sustainable organizational operations;
2.Supporting sustainability education both inside and outside of the classroom; and
3.Expanding career opportunities for Bentley's graduates.
We achieve this mission through collaborative partnerships with divisions across the university.
The Bentley University Office of Sustainability seeks a sustainability communications and engagement manager to write stories about sustainability on our campus and engage our community in actions identified in the university's Sustainability and Climate Action Plan. The successful candidate will use social media, short stories and other forms of content creation to share information and news with internal and external audiences. The successful candidate will also design creative and effective strategies to engage the Bentley community in the university's sustainability efforts.
Excellent communication is the key to engagement and to ensuring that our students understand the breadth of opportunities available to incorporate sustainability into their Bentley experience. An effective communications strategy will also ensure that external audiences (prospective students, parents, alumni and local neighbors) are aware of Bentley's leadership in modeling sustainable organizational operations and preparing students for careers in today's organizations and businesses that are grappling with sustainability challenges.

The Bentley University Office of Sustainability is an independent office within the university that reports to the president's chief of staff. The Office of Sustainability achieves its objectives by modeling sustainable organizational operations and providing students with experiential learning opportunities. The Office of Sustainability aims to set an example for sustainable business practices and prepare students for work in today's business world.
